I just took three supers off of my hives today.I extracted five gallons of Poplar honey. It looked, and tasted great. It looks light colored for Poplar. I was glad to have it after getting nothing last year. I still have three supers on that arn't ready too come off yet( one on each hive). I was wondering if they will fill them or is it over? Thanks in advance.

Well, the poplar blooms are starting to slow down here...but the white dutch clover in the yards is beginning to come on strong. Don't know about your area but here in TN I think we still have a little flow time left.

Only God knows. I hope the flow lasts longer for you.

on a full hive, how many supers would you expect them to fill in a good spring flow?

last year was terrible due to that late freeze we got at Easter
down here in the flatlands we didn't get a late freeze this year
were you folks up in the hills that lucky?
how about sourwood?
