I just Inspected my 2 hives which have been doing very well. I cut out 10 queen cells from my hive #1, which had a total of 16. I left 6 queen cells.
I think this hive may be hell bent on swarming, so I took a frame of capped brood, pollen and syrup and queen cells and put it in a 1 tew observation hive.
With any luck I will watch the Queen be born and make a split at the same time. Either way it will make for a great learning experience:D
Oh yeah I also have the capped Queen cells I cut out, don't know what to do with them:confused:
