One of my 2 hives has drones going in and out like there is no tommorow. Hive 1 has many drones and hive 2 not nearly as many going in and out. aside from that the pollen is comming in like crazy on both hives. :)

I spend my spare time sitting in a lawn chair 4 feet in front of the hives the bees don't seem to care that I am watching. :D These hives are doing excellent, I am inspecting the one with all the drone activity this afternoon.

I just got back from inspecting - I have a similar situation. Inside the hive there a lot of drones and a very shoddy brood pattern. The majority of capped brood is drone. Very few eggs overall. I did not see the queen a few weeks ago. Any suggestions?

ps - I am always outside the hive looking at the bees. it is amazing!

Just finished Inspection.
Hive 1 with all the drones seems normal, No queen cells, normal amount of drone cells and good brood pattern. Was patiently checking all frames until I found the queen, she looks great.:D Zero aggression.

Hive 2 not as many drones, but normal amount of drone cells. Good brood pattern. Bees in this hive are a little more agressive than hive 1:eek:.
Also found the queen, again she looks wonderful.:)

Both hives seem to be plugging up everything with syrup and pollen. I am feeding and I think Its time to stop.(I think there is a flow)
Both are also drawing out the plasticell very well.

I would go back in your hive and make sure there is a queen or evidence of one with fresh laid eggs.IMPO
