Reusing Old Frames?

I picked up about 10 supers from a retiered beekeeper yesterday. They were all filled with old frames that still had bits of comb on the edges. He claims that his bees were never sick and that he medicated his hives. He retired because he moved to a more urban area, and was unable to keep bees. There's about 30-50 frames and I don't really want to throw them all out. I heard that people around here were hunting for more to buy, I don't want to be short of frames! What do you guys reccomend? He gave me some new unassembled frames, and I made about 20 of them today, I could probably make about 10 more. Should I use these frames or not?

i do it all the time if i believe the previous owner but lately i'm finding so much used equipment i have become pretty choosy. good luck,mike
