Introduction

Hey there,

I'm Clover and I live on that little Volcano Island, Montserrat, in the Leeward Islands of the West Indies. It's a British island. I'm new to beekeeping, but a swarm flew through here day before yesterday and I feared they were my bees, but YAY! They were not. So.. it was a good heads-up that I need top do swarm prevention. I posted questions yesterday or day before on the 101 forum but I do not see it anywhere. I guess I didn't get through. Don't know why.

Are your bees Africanized? From my reading, much of the Caribbean is now AHB.
