I don't suppose you ever go down to the La Crosse or Madison areas by any chance? All this stuff would have to be where I USED to live :D.

Wind out of the north with gusts to 40mph.
Just can't give up.
Darn poor bee growing weather!

We do get down there occasionally, at least to the Tomah area, halfway between. Don't you live in CO?

If you have Fleet Farm stores down by you they are sold there.
I am trying to find a link to their site but can't find it. Here is a link to a similar competitor. http://www.shelter-solution.com/Round-Style-Portable-Garage-Kit-12Wx24Lx10H-pr-16278.html

Hey are you selling those pallets?

JohnK and Sheri

Probably selling the pallets. There are about 65 of them. We will have some more plastic frames too but haven't gone through to know how many. We debated putting splits in them but we are running out of calendar.

I'm trying to jump to the step of commercial beekeeping.. I'm caught somewhere in the middle.. I have a cowen uncapper, 33 frame kelley radial extractor, pump, wax melter, both small one and the big one... what else would you suggest.. that you have for sale? I've read the catologs.. and they can be quite confusing at times.. I've been raising bees for about 30 years.. of and on...

About 500 colonies of bees? :D
Just kidding, Steve. It sounds like your equipment is similar to what we have for sale. Other things to consider:
Although some make a living without it, going into pollination often helps with the cash flow. (we have clip pallets)
Have an efficient way to feed for winter, (we have 500 gal plastic tanks). Make your own patties instead of buying them (we have a little mixer).
Keep your colonies mite free (we have green pierco drone frames and apiguard).
Keep the bears out (we have fencers, wire and posts).
Once your honey is extracted you might want to clarify it for bottling (we have a couple clarifiers).

Really, only you can say what equipment you need for how you run your bees. It would probably help to talk to commercial guys in your area, who share a similar philosophy of beekeeping to get direction on how to take that next step. It might be a question of just doing what you do now, only on a larger scale.
