Placement of 2nd hive.

I should have my second TBH complete this weekend or sooner. On the pictures I see hives close together. If I have the room to put them pretty far apart. Is it better. Or does it not matter.

Bee-ginner guess upcoming---The closeness will save you a few steps, but distance apart will give them a territory they may take as their own. ...Less competition may make for better output and also help make them happier and more mild mannered.

IMO, it really doesn't matter. Put them where it's convenient for you.
