Local tree company, clearing trees for new road called me and said they had some bees in a tree. "Do you want them they asked?" Sure! I said. Did not know the tree was so big!

That was a job! A Come-Along and the tree beside it did the job. I didn’t photo-graph that, I knew it would have received allot of "You shouldn’t have done it that way" remarks. Basically what I did was chain it to the tree hoist it up high enough to drive the truck out from underneath. Then lower it down. Sounds safer than what it actually was. It was one of those things when you are doing it, that small voice in your head that keeps saying “that’s not a good idea.” I could have been hurt if it had slipped out of the chain. Was lucky. So no pics.
Anyway, went out and checked them and they are not looking to good. May have been a new swarm and it was all for nothing. Not many bees flying.
