THe public can come and watch as the club goes through the hives. THis is at a county supported farm in the middle of a park, part of 4-H and a lot of other solid programs and fairly busy on the weekends. It gives urban kids and families to get some hands on experience in a rural environment. The club visits these places once a year (2 other locations later this summer) and individual members help out the rest of the year as volunteers.
The local newspaper was there too and did a photo of the group for the Sunday issue, which was nice.
