I have alot of 3/4" x 3/4" square bar laying around. Could I attach these to my top bars as comb guides without doing anything else to them.

I'm pretty new to this, but my initial thought is no. I think it may confuse the bees. However, it may work, after all, bees will build their comb on almost anything.

I have 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" bars left over. And thought about putting these on the extras.

A comb guide needs to come to a point or at least be no wider than 3/16". Otherwise there is no "line" to follow.
