It's great to see the honeybees bringing in pollen. It's 41 degrees, the hives are in full sun and a few of the hives are bringing in a Syracuse Orange color pollen and as well as a light creme color pollen which I believe is maple.:)

Are you seeing Maples blooming? I thought the cream colored pollen might be Poplar.
The orange might be crocus. Mine started blooming then we got 3 inches of snow. Temps are to go up to 60's tues.

Michael,
Based on your post, I went and took a look at the maples around my property and they have closed buds. I don't see any poplars but I know they are here in abundance.
I think maybe I need to take a short course in Dendrology.... Live and learn...ty for commenting.

The popular here look to be a few warm days away. They are opening, but have down dropped.
I was down in town today and there were a few Red Maples in bloom. About 800 feet lower in elevation.

MC, ty for the link. I bookmarked it. The closest in color is the Maple...
I'm at around 1100 feet above sea level. The table didn't have a color for poplar though...
