i think it would work very well. not sure how quickly you could move along with it though.

If you can hold the wedge tight enough the stapler works fine.

I use my pnuematic nailer stapler from harbor freight for 10.00 more

I use a brad driver like this:

Got it at the local hardware store for around $5. I also use it to start the brads that I use to hold the ends of the wire.

I just got a stapler that uses brads and staples. I used it on frames and it works fairly well . For putting in wedges it was fine . On the end bars it didn't put them flush enough for me. It was a hand model like WVbeeks. It cost 20.00

i have a brad driver similar to the one hfrysinger links to but mine is plastic. you can use it just to start the brad or use a hammer to tap it to set the brad.
