Any Drones Yet?

I have my hives in the piedmont of NC. Has anyone seen any drones in this area yet? How is the best way to identify a young drone? I have many bees doing oreintation flights at the entrance but have not recoginzed any drones. The way i identify a mature drone is the hair at the rear the big size and a loud buzzing when flying. Thanks

I have drones cells capped and in most of my hives, but I have been feeding Pollen patties and syrup since New Years. A few have new drones hatched out.

Just checked my hives today. No drones in the hives yet but there are capped drone cells
