I bought some hives and frames with the foundation already installed. I stored them for the winter. I don't know if it was the cold, but I see vertical cracks in the foundation. It is still whole and securely held in the frame. Will the bees fix the cracks or do I need to replace it.

DonYou should be fine, bees will repair missing or broken foundation.

I have used cracked foundation never heard the bees complain yet. you are good to go as long has the foundation is still together and not bowed.
