Essential Oils

I have read about all of the essential oils and have a question abou how much to use.

How much lemongrass oil would you use in an empty hive for swarm lure?


How much spearmint oil would you use in syrup?


Any other info on essential oils would also be appreciated.

10 drops of lemongrass oil on top of the frames every couple weeks. Everyone seems to be different on this.

25 drops (1 cc) of wintergreen or spearmint oil to one pint of honey or two cups of sugar in a quart jar is a safe rate. Fill the jar with hot water and shake well.
