View Full Version : Wanted Nuc, Package bees, Established hive in Centrial Ca near Fresno/ Tulare

Hi guys I live in Hanford Ca which is 30 min south of Fresno. And I am looking for a nuc to buy or a package of bees or an existing hive. I have enough equipment plus honey supers for 4 hives. I have a waiting spot for bees from Cf Konehon and sons in Chico but that is a 4 to 5 hr drive for me. I would really like to get some closer to me and sooner then April. If anyone has any idea please let me know. I will be going to the Ca Farm Show in Tulare next week so I plan on talking with Carys Honey farms as they have a booth there. I also would like to apprintace a few times or even just go around with some beek in the area to get some practice time in before my girls come. I have all of my bee suit, hat, vail, smoker and hive tool ready to go. If any one can help it would be very very thankful

Check ABJ, there are 1000's of hives available after almonds:).

Go to Dadants in Fresno and ask them. They will know were to get some close by.

Do they have a web page? Or whats there contact info like where are they located. Oh and I was at Dadants today and they have no clue as no one has told them anything. Gave me the same list for package bees. I have my date for my 4lb package from Kohenan for April 11th.

Well I have subscribed to them but I have yet to get any copies. I get Bee Culture Mag.

Just wanted to say hello. I see where you live in Hanford. That brings back a lot of memories from my wild and crazy Navy days. 1991-1993 at NAS Lemoore. I still visit the area a couple times a year. I have an old Navy buddy who married a local and lives in Dinuba.
