I'm not sure I'd want to squirt it quite so haphazardly. I use a syringe from an old inkjet refill kit, and drip a measured 5ml down each seam where I see bees. I suppose if you have 5000 hives to get through you'd want to find a faster method, but wiith a few hives, there's no need for it.

I used a one gallon spray wand for only 2 colonies; to bad my control colony died from starvation
