due to things beyond my control my bees have been neglected so it was a surprise when my long hive was found alive? A queen excluder had been used to add a storage place for extra queens and some honey. thinking they were dead lifted the top box and bees came at me,wow alive and flying!
took out the ecluder and hope the queen was small enought to have moved up also?
