:DAfter almost 2 years of studying, reading books, and reading online, Its time to start bee keeping.
I have all the tools needed, also a 5 frame deep nuc from(Rossman), a 2-10 frame medium hive from(Brushy mountain), and a 1 deep observation hive from(Walter T Kelly) to learn from. Yes I have feeders and such also.
I live in Connecticut and need advice on where to purchase packages for spring:confused:
Also, I haven't bought the foundation for the medium frames for the Brushy hive. Not sure weather to use plastic or wax. As for the nuc it is wired wax.
Also need advice on a beeveil, that is the olny thing I haven't bought yet.
Do most local bee suppliers just order from the south, or can I get hearty bees bread up north here where I live?
I have spent many months around apairies hives at nature centers to get rid of my phobia of bees and flying insects also took care of a friends nuc while he was on vacation. The bees did all the work I just watched
I need to order my bees before its too late.
