Mini/baby nuc plans?

I am thinking of trying my hand at raising my own queens.

First is there a difference between mini nucs and baby nucs?


Any one have plans for them or even just the dimentions that they would like to share.

I would like to build any thing I use to standards so that I could buy other pieces to work with what I build.

...looks pretty good to me.

the other is michael palmer's style, using a deep hive body divided into 4 sections, with half length frames.

...or you can use 3 follower boards in a deep to divide it into 4 2frame nucs.
