Joel, where do you think thymol products like ApiLife and Apiguard fit in? How about powdered sugar dusting? Just want to make sure my answers are properly catalogged.

I think that the 'no treatment' is covered under poll#1
Dan, I would consider them "Herbal controls for mites" . Sugar is Herbal in a processed cane kind of way or at least natural.
I think it is the direction most want to move. Ian makes an excellent point in Poll 1 to point out none of us really like to treat for disease. Perhaps that's a concept that's in the back of our minds but hasn't really been stated.

Where does treatment for Nosema belong?
I'd say under other chemicals not listed since both fumadil and fumagillen are chemicals. It is good to note, if you can without a $14,000 other treaments used.
Interesting, but not suprising, Cumophos is out of fashion.
