After reading Grant's article in this month's ABJ, I went looking for Peter Teal's trap design. I wasn't able to find any pictures, but I was able to find one fairly descriptive link.

Mel and Sonny developed a very successful trap that they use in conjunction with nematodes to control the beetles in their apiaries. These traps are presented in the Arkansas State Beekeeping class on pest control. The attractant is the same as the bait used in their wax moth traps.

Thanks Jon. I plan on using this trap "on top". But I was interested in a bottom trap also, something akin to the west trap. The article touts "low cost", something I think the west trap lacks.
