Metarhizium anisopliae?
The last gasp of this stuff was a "one last try" by Rosalind James
to see if she could get the stuff to work. If forget if it was funded
by the National Honey Board, the AHPA, or another group, but some
large group funded the work.
Her "last try" found what prior attempts had found, which is that
the results reported by Kanga (Rosalind's partner in the original
work) simply could not be repeated, not by Kanga, not by James,
not by anyone.
The original data presented seemed "too good to be true", but no one
is calling Kanga on the carpet, as he leveraged himself from post-doc
to associate professor in one giant leap, and left the USDA just after
reporting the results that seemed "too good to be true".

To good to be true. You know what means. I had read several pages in different places, but no facts like you said. Just stopped To bad. Sounds good for use on termites. I live in an area that we don't have to worry about termites. Thanks Tony
