¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás?

I believe it's <alt> <e> Than type your letter. á, é ... I'm on a Mac though, so it may be different on a PC.

˜=<alt> <n>
¿=<alt> <shift> <?>
¡=<alt> <!>

Another useful phrase is ¿Dónde está el baño? (where is the bathroom?)

abeja = honeybee
miel = honey
ácaro de varroa = left as an exercise for the student

Also handy: ¡Ow! ¡He sido picado! = Ow! I've been stung!

Hola señores,

Mas vocabulario basico en Español

beekeeping apicultura
beekeeper apicultor
apiary apiario
queen reina
worker obrera
drone zangano (also used for someone who is lazy and doesn’t like to work)
wax cera
pollen polen
comb panal o panela
hive colmena

I got lucky down here because the keyboards are usually set up with keys for the accent marks and such. When I was up in the States recently I didn’t have such a keyboard so the spell check in Spanish saved me a lot. Never did figure out the alt commands. But still, after living in Honduras as long as I have (quite a few years now) I still have to think about when I need an accent and when I don’t. That’s where I give thanks to the inventor of the spell check.

As long as you understand the reply.

That is one question that I know how to ask in Spanish. Another good one is "Como se dice _____ (insert a word in English) en Espanol?" How do you say _____?

Mi Espanol es no mas bueno.

Gracias para estos "keystrokes".

De nada.

I've had to learn the strokes for español proyectos. I wish I had one of Tomas's keyboards, that would make Spanish 2 a lot easier! :) (Although I think I could configure this keybourd to type Spanish characters, but I'm not about to mess up the family computer!;))

I'll bet that there is a program somewhere in cyber space that would allow you to type in english and have it come out in spanish. Isn't there? If not, maybe someone should create it.

Google has a translator, but it's not that accurate...

I am thinking about getting a spanish speaking employee in the coming years. It will augment my spanish and give him a job.
