Had a great time at BugFest 2007 in downtown Raleigh,NC today. This is the largest one day event in the nation that features insects. The Wake County Beekeeping association displayed observation hives, honey samples and the very popular bee bearding session throughout the afternoon. We had a great time educating individuals of all ages about beekeeping and the honeybee.

Thanks for volunteering there! We look forward to it every year, and I always recommend it to friends (especially if they have kids). My daughter has always had fun at BugFest (http://www.bugfest.org/). Its great to see people learning about bees and other insects.

Its not of bees, but here's one of my BugFest 2007 photos:

Thats a Manduca sexta (AKA Tobacco Hornworm or Carolina Sphinx).

Thanks again for helping with such a great event!
