Here are a few pictures of my 7 frame bee vacuum in the event someone wants an idea in the event you want to build one. This seven frame vacuum is heavy duty which is the reason for the five frame one below. This one has a telescoping cover with plexi-hinged vent and #8 screen below so after you vac them up you open the plexi to let them stay cool. Other features include: Side adjustable vent; cord holder; on/off switch box; nipple to plug hose into; and an old seatbelt for a shoulder harness. Oh, sorry about the picture of the inside of this vacuum; the screen mesh is filthy from my last job...it sucked a bunch of insulation into the mesh and I still need to clean it some...

Here is the lighter weight five frame vacuum: This has a cover that inserts vs telescoping to cut down on weight; a smaller plexi cover of thinner material; short cord and no cord holder; no nipple, just a hole to insert hose. I was really trying to cut down on weight. Oh, the seven frame one was built with half inch plywood, this one was built with 3/8ths. If you have any questions on either one I'll be glad to try and answer...
