Troubles still persist in my neck of the woods. Seems now the original CCD working group is fighting like cats and dogs.......and still no answers........no consistant ideas.....nada. And to make things event better they found West Nile in my town today. The mosquito control district is planning a full arial assault with Malathion at dusk tonight. Knowing them they get excited and start at about 5pm just when the few forager bees we have left are coming home. If the "CCD" thing does turn out to be chemical related it would be a very sad commentary on our species..........Gods mistake.

What troubles in your neck of the woods?

--Seems now the original CCD working group is fighting like cats and dogs....…(SH)

The ‘original CCD working’ group was between Apiary departments in PA and Florida, consisting of:

From PA:
Dennis vanEngelsdorp
Diana Cox Foster
Maryann Frazier
Nancy Ostiguy

From Florida:
Jerry Hayes

There were others since then jumping on the band wagon and Dennis with his openess policy welcomes all, but as far as I know there is great cooperation between the original working group between departments in PA and Florida

more trouble huh simplyhoney?

malathion now. has the city used that in the past? seems like it would be more practical for them to do any fogging after dark, although the problem with malathion is that it can significantly linger.

did the doctor ever manage to get in touch with you directly in regards to the samples? he told me there was some problem in regards to mailing samples in alcohol.
