If you would like to try any of these let me know. North Dakota sweet clover of course is some of the whitest best honey around, orange from the Fresno area, and manzanita from outside of Sequioa National Park, its strong has a bite is different. I would like to try some locust. MadBowbee

Sold a jar of honey to a lady one time. She asked what kind is it? I said locust. She made an awful face and said she wanted honey from flowers.I almost fell over trying to keep a straight face, but her husband started cracking up.:)

Yeah Mike...Some people dont have a clue as to the differances in honey. Then theres the guy who I sell some to at the flea market that dont own a bee, might not know the differance if a yellowjacket stung him on the nose that always talks about being one of the select few who can obtain sourwood honey from a beek in carolina that he has never met. Some days I have to supress a belly laugh when he gets to spouting off...Rick

For just this reason, my labels say "Locust Honey (from black locust trees)"
You never know...

I wouldn't have believed that anyone would think it was grasshopper honey (whatever that is) ,but she did!
It was a premium honey and something very rare for this area-usually gets mixed in with manzanita (which I love though some think its a bit distinctive).
