hi i would like to get your opinion for those who have used a 9/18 hand crank extractor.

is it too heavy to do manual extracting? can you spin the honey off effeciently?

is the machine strong enough? any breakdowns?

the cost of the motor is a bit too much for me.

I have the Mann Lake 9/18 motorized. That's what I'd recommend. Your arm will get very tired if you have very much honey to do. I'm exhausted at the end of a day of extracting as it is with the motorized one.

I have a 9-18 and I couldn't imagine cranking that big of a machine.

You better start saving your pennys because it is worth every one of them.

I have the 9/18 i am Like MB tried enough at the end of the day.You have to remeber decapping, luging around supers and buckets.I used a 3 frame hand crank one season that was enough of that.Get the motor you will never regret it.
