first hummingbirds, now the cat???

Last year I had the praying mantis that killed the hummingbird. Now, just as they hung out at the hummingbird feeder, they are hanging around the cat food. If it were not for the picture, I would of never imagined they could catch a hummingbird. But if this thing snags the cat, I'm moving.... ;)

you should watch a mantis egg sack hatch. they are like spiders- the first ones born get a free meal- all the bro's and sis's they care to eat! survival of the fitest + big familly = one BAD mantis :)

what the heck are cats good for anyway (ok, they eat mice:rolleyes:)
get a dog, he'll chase the mantis back up in a tree where he belongs:)
