Crown Vetch

Do honeybees work crown vetch? I didn't know if it's a flower whose structure allows them to reach into it...can the bees work it and is it a preferred source?

I've never seen Honeybees on Crown Vetch. Lots of other bees, but no Honeybees.

I don't know what kind of vetch this was. I noticed this just the other day up on the mountain. The bees were working it in modest numbers, but I suspect it was something different than crown vetch.

This is up in some state gamelands. I'd love to hang a swarm box up there next year.
