I underestimated my girls. I'm down to my last super and the frames are getting filled fast. I have another 20 frames of undrawn foundation. Can I just pull some of the capped frames and freeze them to make room until my new woodenware gets here?

I wish I had that problem here they are eating the honey as fast as they can make it:(
Its been way to dry around here

Don't know if you have the wood and skills.... But you can build quick holding
racks for the capped frames. They do not need to be frozen unless they were previously used for brood. They can sit quite a while inside.

If you have room in the deep freezer toss the frames in there until you are ready to extract them. Honey is hydroscopic and will absorb moisture in the air, in the freezer it will stay dry and not crystallize.

Wish I had that problem!

You can freeze your frames with honey but be carefull when you remove them from the freezer - the comb will be very brittle and can damage easily.

I agree with bbbbman - extract the honey and put the frames back in with the bees.

There's no such thing as "too much honey"....

Thanks. I don't really want to extract. I've been feeding heavy with sugar water to get them to draw out new foundation and it would probably taste like that "honey" KFC gives you for bisquits. This was to be "extra" if needed in a pinch.
