I did a search, but had no luck. How long after a swarm enters an empty swarm trap, will it be before they have drawn wax and have some brood? I have 2 swarms that need transfered to decent hives, but want to be sure they have brood so that they wont take off on me, and heaven forbid, if I loose the queen during the transfer, they will have enough young eggs to raise a new queen? I know, my confidence is overwhelming about not loosing the queen. Thanks!
