When robbing occurs, I reduce the entrance then take a piece of glass about 8 inches long and put it in front of the entrance. The robbing bees don't seem to be able to have enough sense to go around and come in either end but the bees coming out of the hive have no problem. Has anyone else had any luck with this?

Haven't tried it, but sounds lik efun. I think I will. Do the field bees know how to get back in?
I use a robbing screen and see the same results. Kinda funny.

i have noticed no problems.
