I see more support for lack of proper nutrition as a factor, along with a lack of genetic diversity. It appears at this point that there will be no silver bullet solution to a single cause, which of course has been the suggestion offered up here by several members, particularly the issue of access to proper pollen forage. Even if they can't identify a single cause, the implication that broadening the genetic pool, de-stressing the bees, and making sure they have the proper nutrition is probably good advice regardless of CCD.
