Text color in chat room

There is a problem with selecting text color in the chat room. If you want to retain the ability to set your text color, do not update your Java version. The issue is with jre 1.6 or higher. A fix is on the way, but who knows when?

If you have already updated, you can uninstall the new version and install an older version from Sun Microsystems if you would like. Alternatively, you can install an older version and direct your browser to use the older version and switch it back for other apps if you would like.

I'll leave that up to you.

You are looking for JDK/JRE. The Runtime Environment is what you need. Version 5 update 10 works fine. There's no need to go back further unless you just want to.
