Hi folks. someone who bought some of my bees last year called and wants more. I don't sell bees, did not advertise, and this was a fluke but glad it worked out for him.
anyway, he wants to bring his own box...what is the rate for a full frame of bees? I want to be fair to him but make it worth my while as well. All help appreciated.

I've sold frames of brood with bees for $12 with exchange for new foundation. Seemed pretty fair to me.

Selling 5 frame deep nucs this year for $78.
Selling 5 frame med nucs this year for $72.
In thier equipment or they are paying a deposit in my equip.
Don't plan on selling individual frames of brood so I can't help you there. But you can break down my prices anyway you want. Don't cut yourself short. Sure you want to be fair... but you are providing a valuable product.
I include 3 frames of brood various stages. Frame of honey pollen and drawn frame to give the queen room to lay.
Fordguy,
I bought five-frame nucs with Hawaiian Cardovan Italian Queens (absolutely gorgeous) for $75 each. These had five full frames of bees, two of brood and three with stores. The frames (wooden and fully drawn) came with it, no exchange. I provided the boxes. For me, this was a great deal.
