I think i have a drone laying queen. I underscore think. I noticed several plump larvae on the front entrance of the hive so I looked inside at a couple of frames. Lots of drone cells in small clusters and a number of drones running around. Didn't see any eggs, anywhere, but just looked on five frames because a storm was coming. A few drone cells were open like the cap had been partially chewed off. I'm going to do a more thorough inspection to look for eggs and if there's a queen. Have to get my taxes finished first today.

Were most of the drone cappings and worker size cells? A charicteristic of laying workers is that they lay in any cell available but their eggs can only produce drones so you get a lot of worker size drones.
