what is there in the sawdust and shavinds that the bees seem to like they come into the workshop and outside where the sawdust is dry

someone else started a thread here on the board awhile back saying that when they cut down some trees their bees were going crazy and packing it into the cells. I think someone mentioned that they are desperate for pollen...

Perhaps they think it's pollen or a suitable substitute? But I can't imagine bees wouldn't know the difference...

Just a thought.
