Ok, for those who have been following my previous posts....
if not the short version is I though I rolled the queen and had to wait.
Well I was going to break into the hive on Sun but my wife has to work and rain is expected later today so I did it at noon on April 14th.
I found her alive and well and with eggs laid! yaahooo!
they have lots of food, maybe too much, so I let the sugar water feed run out as of yesterday and pulled off the feeders. I saw a few coming back with pollen and saw a few cells with pollen in it.
They were very docile! so I added the 10th frame of drawn comb, closed em up and will wait to see....
they did not have enough bees to cover about 4 frames, so I think adding more room is not good now....
any suggestions on how long till I check on them again?
