I was talking to another guy who has some bees. We discussed how some days a hive can be gentle and the next day they are wicked. I sorta rationalized that it depended on what was happening: weather, time of day, which set of bees matured into guard bees and which ones evolved into foragers, what the beek was wearing, how he smelled, what's blooming, or what what side of the bee-bed the bees woke up on.... I guess bees is like folks.
