This is probably a trivial question, but how does one properly care for his beesuit gloves? What is a good way of cleaning the "sticky" off of them without hurting them, and how can I make them last longer?

Thanks.

From a previous thread:
I hand wash mine (goatskin) with dishwashing soap and water then ring them out good, give them a liberal coat of olive oil, that seems to help keep them soft and supple.

I wash them with dish soap and after they are dry I soak them in FGMO. (mineral oil laxitive)

I have canvas gloves. I soak mine in odorless mineral spirits for a day or so before washing them. That will soften the propolis and it will mostly wash out with hot soapy water. Then dry them really well. I only wash them once a year.

When my gloves get real dirty and sticky I will wash them in pure clean water. If they get dirty on the inside, I very carefully turn them inside out and put them in the trash. All my gloves are rubber.
