Funny, my "location" suddenly now says:
Nassau County, New York USA
That's like waaay out on Long Island.
What I had was:
"New York, Nassau, Kuala Lumpur"
Meaning New York, NY (Manhattan), Nassau (Bahamas),
and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), which are the 3 places
I am mostly likely to be at any random point in time.
Did someone attempt to "clean things up"?
Why can't I find the field where one could edit this?
I recall that it was on the "profile" page, but now it
is not.

The only way to fix it is for you to move out to Long Island. It isn't really that far.

Jim -
That would be me. I implemented some new profile fields for location so when new members register, they have to include a more detailed location. But in so doing, it moved previously listed information around which meant it would screw up all currently registered member's profile location, so I changed it back to one location field and added language in the registration that a city/county, state and country must be listed or they wouldn't be approved. This is another level of security against spam as I can check the IP address against the listed information. Also, it helps overall in discussions to know where one is from and the climate they experience. I'll fix your location listing.

Maybe he should stop moving. Sounds like he's moving long ways and often!

Or maybe instead of moving try being honest.

I don't think he's ever posted a single thing that wasn't honest, including his location. If he has, point it out. If not, you should retract the comment.
