early pollen

[berkshire bee]

I live in the Northern Berkshires in the northwest corner of MA. Yesterday, april 1st my bees were coming back loaded with pollen. Things still look pretty dead around here. My guess is maybe linden/basswood trees. Any ideas!

Manitoba Maple (box elder)-light olive
Grey alder-brownish yellow
American Hazel-light green
Willow-lemon yello
American Elm-light grey
Winged Elm-pale yellow
