View Full Version : A Good Book Reference, Please
I am just managing to work standard hives with some success, but this forum intrigues me. I have seen plans on building a TBH, but I have no idea how it works, how one extracts honey, or why I would want to mess with it. Any suggestions on "how to" books? I am prone to research things for a while before starting. I read about beekeeping for a year before buying my first deep.

Its not "in print", but if you haven't see Michael Bush's and Dennis Murrell's sites, you should check them out. They both have good info on top-bar hives (including the topics you mentioned).
Dennis Murrell's site - http://bwrangler.farvista.net/ttbh.htm
Michael Bush's site - http://bushfarms.com/bees.htm
I haven't seen a printed book on TBH's yet.
