I really like the new forum! It's like getting a new toy, now I have to figure out how to work the new features.
Thanks again Barry!

You and me both have to figure out how it works! Right now I'm just trying to get the basic functionality to work. Then I'll work at changing the look and feel of it. Right now it's all default settings for the most part. Had my share of migration problems but finally got it all to work.

I can tell the time thing is bugging everyone, it was me too.
Go to the CONTROL PANEL and set your preferences, and your time zone there.
This is fun.
Anyone else feel like they were quitting smoking? Was a toough few days but methadone really helps.
Great new look, feels like we've been launced into the 21st century. Much exploring left to do. Like being in a new bee supply store!
Thanks Barry!
OK BB, I found everything on the control panel except the time change and you're right, it's driving me nuts! Perhaps a little more quidance if you please?

When I first saw the changes... my initial response was not liking it.
After trolling around on here and checking it all out... THIS NEW GET-UP IS COOL!!!!!!!
I do like the controls, much more like other forums I frequent. Being able to go directly to the new posts in a thread, and being able to see the threads you've partipated in - Excellent change! :)

Hey Joel -
I see hyperlinks in messages (in your case, your sig file) are showing code. Can you try and redo your sig file and see if doing so will change that? There are some settings for sig files and I may need to adjust them to resolve this, but first wanted someone to try redoing it first.
Thanks.

Joel: For time change go to User CP--> Edit Options --> Time & Date
Me, I'm trying to figure out how this newbie ended up as a "senior member." Excuse me, I never posted my birth date! I think I might have to be offended. ;)
My log on says my last visit was in 1970. Oh boy--might have been my first.
The green light by members name-- does it mean they are on the board at present? What a feature.

Farm Out! Right Arm! :)
It appears my service provider's name servers haven't updated yet, I had to plug Beesource's new IP address into my browser to get in here from home. How annoying. Otherwise, I'm impressed with both the speed and the features. Lots to learn here.
Great job Barry. I hope you know we really appreciate your efforts. Karl

very nice Barry,
thanks for the upgrade, this is most excellent :)

Let's see if this does it. Looks like when you changed servers it just carried the HTML code with it. I just edited it to below and it seems to work OK.

What's the sheet of paper icon below the name and above the message? Some people have changed it to smilies and/or words.

I felt the same Dan........ Did not like the first few
minutes of using it. But........ It is fast, and the
features blow the other one out of the water.
Thanks Barry........
And Joel....... I would be in your boat but........ it
was NFL free agency....... It doesn't get better than
the NFL free agency and draft.

Bruce -
What was it that you didn't like right at first? Color, layout, etc.? Was it the look and feel or the functionality of it? The look and feel of it is going to change. I personally don't like the colors. I like the old look better.

It's like anytime you walk into a strange environment you are not used to, you feel out of place. I like to know where the exits are, have a good vield of view, and know what's behind the next wall.
All in all, once we get the feel of the lay of the land we become more comfortable. This new forum is like Christmas, and I am saving some of the controls to open later. This is fun.
Barry, please keep the blue scheme. If you pole us I think blue would win out.
