I'll be working the Canton/ Van Zandt area, following the rules set down by the law. I will not remove them from you home, but, the outbuildings, trees, shrubs, or wherever, I will handle. Call me between 9AM and 9PM at 903-363-3304, and I can give you a price quote dependent of how far I must travel, and where the swarm is located. An easy grab of the swarm, located within 10 miles of Canton , would run $25 normally, but could be less in certain situations, like for folks on a fixed income and such...If the price of gas goes down, so will my rate.

I do hive removals and swarm capture in the Austin, Bastrop, San Marcos area. I have a background in construction and remodeling and can remove building trim, soffit and siding/masonry with minimal damage but i do not do reconstruction. I do live removals not exterminations and relocate the bees to my apiary. I will not take a job which has had pesticide sprayed on it or any other attempted extermination done prior. I charge based on the difficulty of the job. If the hive is low to the ground and easy to access i may do the job for free. In late summer (Sep-Nov) i charge a $20 reconnaissance fee just to come out and look due to the frequency of yellow jacket misidentification.
Removals of established hives in buildings or other structures is a difficult task. The space occupied by the hive must be fully exposed to access the combs and remove them intact. This often means tearing out or cutting a large hole in whatever structure is inhabited. Without such drastic opening of the space the combs composed of wax, honey, pollen and larva cannot be removed and will rot inside the space attracting pests, vermin and causing mold and odors. If the structure cannot be opened and there are no concerns over the effects of a rotting hive as mentioned above the colony may be trapped out removing the bees but leaving the hive in the space. This technique takes a few weeks to execute and i will have to visit the site periodically to check on the progress.
Please call with questions or to get a quote on bee removal,
