I'll try to be in the chat room around eight central tonight.

If you're a left handed beekeeper, be sure not to miss this session.. We'll be discussing the challenges of using right handed tools to work our hives.

So you want lefthanded: hive tooks, frame grips, hive lifters, smokers, queen excluders, hives, bottoms, tops, inner covers, beesuites, bee gloves, frame perch, manipulation cloth... did I leave anything out? Oh, left handed bee escapes, slatted racks, staple guns...

I suppose a left handed hive tool is obvious. The hook goes the other way right?

What about the rest of them?

Luckily skill saws and measuring tapes are already left handed so us right handers just have to adjust, or buy a worm driven saw. No right handed tapes anywhere, though.

The last three times that I have gone to the chat room, there were three to four people in there, but saying little or nothing, like last night. I left. I must have BO or bad breath or something....and what was that talk about hippies on Bee Source? Most people seem to me to be gun nut rightwing Rednecks, or at least the most outspoken ones are.

Was late, and I was tired. You forgot the left handed gloves.

I'm not rightwing. Nor am I a redneck. I was in the room last night, and if you had waited around for a little bit you would have gotten into a rather good conversation. People were just busy while you were in there....but we started talking. And I don't think you have BO :-p

Sounds like the topic should be intresting tonight...but only if you are a right wing, gun nut redneck. http://www.beesource.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

See you guys there.

About left handed. I've read that when bees exit those triangular bee-escapes they always turn right. This principle is partly the reason certain escapes are so effective. (Glad they don't vote!)

Honeyman, I am sooo sorry.

I knew this would make the folks upset with me. I feel so bad about this.

Seems like everytime the tractor scrapes our dirt road, it brings up those nails to the surface....

We have a fella that makes a pretty good living just keeping our vehicle tires plugged and filters changed, and those shock absorbers changed.....

Please forgive me...

There's just no comfortable place in the US for barefooted, lefthanded, leftover hippies.

Good thang the bees don't discriminate.

Hey Nat.......

I wanted to ask if you give yourself the niacin flush?

I gave myself a niacin flush yesterday and it is wild!
