SUCCESS!!! - Tiny Bees

Hey everybody, very exciting news for me. My established hive has begun regression and I have TINY bees!! I didn't do a complete shakedown, but just added 4 frames of SC. Two were from a hive I had started regressing earlier on SC foundation, with brood, and 2 were starter strips. I have 2 kinds of worker brood, large and small and the difference is AMAZING! No mistaking the two, and the smaller bees remind me of the ones I saw in my childhood. I'm on my way to dope free bees and I am SO HAPPY!! Just had to share... Elizabeth

Fantastic!! I bought 56 established colonies this spring and was amazed at how BIG they are in relation to my other 20 colonies. The new colonies are getting small cell this weekend as I pull brood frames.

Small is indeed Beautiful!
