This is my second year of beekeeping. My first two hives have overwintered amazingly well here in Maine. I'm thrilled.
We have two new packages coming as well as two nucs (locally produced)
I'm planning on starting the packages on small cell foundation.
My question is, what about supering? Do I cut down small cell foundation for the supers or give them regular foundation? I will be resticting access to the supers with a queen excluder.
Any advise will be sincerely appreciated.
